Signe Horn Rosted – CTO of Energinet
Join Late Lecture for this event with Signe Horn Rosted – CTO of Energinet
Signe Horn Rosted is Chief Technology Officer and member of the executive management at Energinet, which operates and develops Denmark’s electricity, gas, and hydrogen infrastructure.
Energinet plays a central role in the green transition by ensuring the necessary expansion of Denmark’s energy infrastructure, the stable operation of the energy system, and the development of well-functioning energy markets.
At the same time, Energinet owns and operates critical national infrastructure in a world where hybrid threats and cyberattacks are becoming increasingly important. As CTO, Signe is responsible for tech/IT, innovation, DataHub, cybersecurity, physical security, and emergency preparedness.
In this talk, Signe will explore:
Energinet’s role in Denmark’s electricity, gas, and hydrogen infrastructure
How the green transition depends on large-scale energy systems
Why critical energy infrastructure is becoming a target in an increased threat landscape
What hybrid threats and cyberattacks can mean for organizations operating essential systems
How digital development, cybersecurity, physical security, and preparedness help strengthen society’s resilience
The role of engineers and technologists in building the infrastructure of the future
Whether you’re studying engineering, energy systems, cybersecurity, software, policy, or simply curious about how Denmark’s critical infrastructure is built and protected, this talk offers a rare opportunity to hear from someone working at the center of it all.
The talk will conclude with an audience Q&A!
